Try it: a simple 10-second welcome screen

Updated 17 September 2026

Ten minutes, two text boxes, two animations. Follow this recipe to build your first animated design and see how timing, fade and typewriter work together.

Use these settings

  1. Set the page background to Hex eaf5fc and Page Duration to 10 seconds.
  2. Add a heading reading Hello! and a second text box reading Your first digital screen. Leave both element tracks spanning the whole page.
  3. Heading: Fade — Delay 0.5, Duration 1, Loop 1, From 0%, To 100%, Reverse off.
  4. Second text: Typewriter — Letter, 12 letters/sec, Steady, cursor off, Delay 1.5, Repeat 0.
  5. Turn Edit as video on, rewind and play. Check the opening, the reveal and the final readable frame. Choose Save template.

Saving a design doesn't send it anywhere. Add it to a playlist, set the playlist's Runtime to match (10 seconds here), add the playlist to a schedule, then push it to your device.
